How to Install 

1. Turn On the Printer

• Make sure your Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 printer is powered on. Wait for the printer to initialize and be ready for cartridge installation.

2. Open the Ink Cartridge Compartment

• On the front of the printer, locate the ink cartridge compartment. There is a door or cover that you can open to access the ink slots.
• Open the cover to reveal the slots where the cartridges are installed.

3. Remove the Old Cartridge (if applicable)

• If you are replacing an old cartridge, gently remove the old ink cartridge by pressing the small tab or lever that secures it.
• Dispose of or recycle the old cartridge properly, or keep it as a backup.

4. Unpack the New PFI-1000 C Cyan Ink Cartridge

• Unpack the Cartridge: Remove the Canon PFI-1000 C cyan ink cartridge from its packaging.
• Remove Protective Tape: The cartridge will have a protective tape over the ink outlet to prevent spillage. Remove this tape carefully.
• Handle Carefully: Hold the cartridge by the sides. Avoid touching the ink nozzle or copper contacts to prevent damage.

5. Install the New Cartridge

• Insert the Cartridge into the Correct Slot: Look for the designated Cyan (C) slot in the ink compartment. The slots are typically labeled to help you identify where each color cartridge goes.
• Insert the PFI-1000 C Cartridge: Align the cyan cartridge with the slot and gently push it in until it clicks into place.
